Abigail Boreham (soprano) was a choral and academic scholar at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where she read Modern Languages. She now sings with vocal groups such as the Choir of London, the Oxford Camerata and Sarum Voices as well as working as a Speech and Language Therapist in Surrey. Recent solo performances in concert have included Handel’s Israel in Egypt for the Salisbury Music Society, and Haydn’s Creation with the Cambridgeshire Choral Society. In a more theatrical vein, Abigail has taken roles in Gluck’s Echo et Narcisse (Echo), Gilbert and Sullivan’s Princess Ida (Ida) and The Sorceror (Aline). Further projects this summer include a series of performances of Brahms’ Requiem with local choral societies and a tour to the Edinburgh International Festival Fringe with Sarum Voices.
