Catherine Carter (soprano) was a choral scholar at Selwyn College, Cambridge. Recent  concert engagements have included Vivaldi's Gloria, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, Haydn’s
Nelson Mass, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solonnelle and Bach’s Matthew Passion.
 
She works regularly with the singer-songwriter Serafina Steer and was involved in the first performance of Dave Maric’s contemporary dance project Shore. Catherine also works in music education at the Centre for Young Musicians in London. Her dramatic experience has included the role of Pilate’s wife in Richard Morrison’s recent community project Mysteries, Old Lady in Bernstein’s Candide at the Cambridge Arts Theatre and Bianca in Britten’s Rape of Lucretia for the Cambridge Opera Society.
