Mozart for Organ
In 1777 Mozart wrote to his father, “In my eyes and ears the organ is the king among all instruments.” Acclaimed organist Elisabeth Roloff opens the 2007 Palestine Mozart Festival with a recital at the organ of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Jerusalem’s Old City. Alongside works for solo organ she will be joined by string players from the Choir of London for performances of Mozart’s Church Sonatas.
