Edward Said and Music
One of the great intellectuals of our time, Edward Said maintained a constant enthusiasm for and fascination with music throughout his life. Dr Peter Tregear, previously of Cambridge University but now Dean of Trinity College at the University of Melbourne, Australia, has recently written on Said and music for a forthcoming commemorative volume on Edward Said, and shares his research in this one-off event as part of the Palestine Mozart Festival.
