Chamber Masterpieces 1
A truly international ensemble of players from the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music perform Mozart’s great quintet for piano and wind instruments: pianist Lasse Egge (Sweden), clarinettist Emma Pros (Britain), oboist George Diek (Palestine) and horn player Gennady Kozhevnikov (Russia) are joined by bassoonist Edward Tolputt from the Choir of London. Violist Hebe de Champeaux (Holland), flautist Rajy Shubeita (Palestine) and cellist Bettina Ezbidi (Germany) join for another major quintet, the late Adagio and Rondo. Rounding out the programme is a movement from Mozart’s epic String Trio arranged for flute, clarinet and cello, and one of his great piano sonatas.
