Hebe de Champeaux (viola) studied for her Bachelor degree in violin performance at San Francisco State University. She then completed her Masters in Instrumental Conducting at Indiana Univertsity, where she was graduate assistant for Opera Theatre. During her time at Indiana, Hebe was a founder of EXART, an ensemble of artists, musicians and dancers, performing a Tango Opera at Bloomington, Indiana.
As a violinist Hebe has attended the Henry Mancini Institute and AIMS in Graz, Austria, on Fellowship. Hebe is currently teaching violin and flute at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music, Palestine, as well as conducting the ESNCM Orchestra and the Jerusalem Chorus.
