Isabelle Adams (soprano/animateur) has enjoyed singing from a young age. On leaving school, she won a choral scholarship to Clare College, Cambridge with whom she sang as a chorister and soloist in regular services, broadcasts, recordings and on tour, participating in the BBC Proms and Salzburg Festival. Outside the choir she took the lead role in The Yeoman of the Guard for the University Gilbert and Sullivan Society. Isabelle has recently gained MMus in Performance from Guildhall School of Music and Drama where she studied on the postgraduate Early Music programme.

As a classical consort singer, Isabelle performs and records with specialist groups including Monteverdi Choir, The Cambridge Singers, English Voices and EXAUDI. Recent solo engagements include Monteverdi Vespers with The Parley of Instruments conducted by Hilary Davan Wetton and the role of Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas for Cyclops Productions, a registered charity which integrates the talents of disabled and non-disabled performers. Isabelle is committed to music outreach work and is in demand as a vocal animateur, delivering projects in a variety of community settings. She currently holds the position of Trainee Animateur at Wigmore Hall.

Isabelle learns with Margaret Lobo and is studying on the Morley Opera School programme.
