English violinist simon hewitt jones graduated from London’s Royal Academy of Music (RAM) in 2005, and is establishing a diverse career as violin soloist, chamber musician, writer and internet broadcaster. Simon appears in recital tours throughout the UK, performs for the late Yehudi Menuhin’s Live Music Now organization, has broadcast on BBC radio, and performed chamber music programmes at European venues including Edinburgh Fringe and Cheltenham festivals. Simon webcasts and records performances for his prize-winning website, ViolinMP3.com, and his ensemble – Court Lane Strings – records for major label recording artists such as Massive Attack and the Corrs.
